Also to the support crew on the day, thanks for getting drinks, holding chairs, bikes, bags and cheering us on.

And to everyone who donated and helpd in the fundraising efforts, THANKYOU!! We are all blessed to be able to help out such a great cause.

 BE WARNED!! our team will be back next year bigger and better then ever.

Last updated: June 23rdLets keep reaching for that goal!!!

I have made a decision, simply for a day

To pedal my bike, from Brisbane to the bay.

It's a huge challenge for me; this is no easy feat

Like squeezing into bike pants for 3 hours on the seat.

It will be a struggle and I'm guaranteed to be sore

It is a little scary, pushing myself more and more.

It's an interesting thought to decide to cycle so far

Something I'd usually only contemplate doing in a car.

The effort is one thing, but there is much more at play

This is not just physical, there's much more behind this day.

There is another reason that I have committed to this ride,

Apart from wearing lycra (and swallowing my pride).

I am riding in support of all Australians with MS

And their families and carers, they deserve no less.

It strikes young adults in the prime of their life

Whether brother or mother, a husband or wife.

The average age of diagnosis is only 30 years old

and life changes dramatically once it takes hold.

It cannot be stopped, there is no known cure

For over 20,000 Aussies, they simply have to endure.

So I am asking you to please sponsor me in the ride

To show your support (or maybe you could ride alongside).

Last updated: May 16thTo my anonymous donator

To whoever it is out there that donated such an amazing amount of money,

 I don't know who you are, you may not want me to know, but what I know is that you're amazing!!

Your hard earned money will go really far!!!

  • Regular phone calls to suffers, offering advise and support;
  • Information packs for newly diagnosed sufferers who are confused and lost in a sea of information;
  • Towards centres that offer a life to those who without it would be homebound and alone;
  • Helping the progression of new medications; AND
  • TOWARDS A CURE!!!!

To everyone that has donated, who has decided to ride as their form of donation, has encouraged me and helped my in organising other fundraising, those who are buying chocolates at work and those who have just checked in on me to see how I am going,

 THANKYOU!!!

Each day I know that we are one step closer to a cure for all sufferers and that with that my life will change, my family's life will change and so will the lives of hundreds of thousands of other sufferers and their families.

THANKYOU AGAIN AND AGAIN!!!

Mr/Ms Anonymous- If you do read this and do feel like letting me know who you are, please contact me... I want nothing more than to give you the biggest hug and thanks in person. Be warned however there will be tears!!

Last updated: March 22ndHelp me support people with MS

I am taking part in the 2011 Enerflex MS Brissie to the Bay bike ride in order to raise much-needed funds for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS). MS is the most common disease of the central nervous system and affects more than 20,000 Australians.

Did you know?

  • Today five more Australians will be told they have multiple sclerosis

  • The average age of diagnosis of MS is just 30 years

  • MS affects three times as many women as men

MS Australia – QLD aims to minimize the impact of multiple sclerosis on all individuals affect by the disease, as well as their families, carers and the community by offering a wide range of services, equipment and support. MS Australia – QLD’s goal is to assist everyone affected by MS to live life to their fullest potential and secure the care and support they need, until we ultimately find a cure.

Please DONATE by clicking on the button to the right and help MS Australia – QLD support all people affected by multiple sclerosis.
