Thank you so much to Domino's Chinchilla for your kind donation.  On Monday night, Domino's Chinchilla donated $1 for every pizza sold.  187 pizzas were sold that night (pretty good night for a small town) The lovely people at Domino's Chinchilla then donated extra to make up a final donation of $500.  Such wonderful support from a great bunch of people!

I'm back from the Australian Taekwondo Championships that were held in Canberra.  At last years titles, I ended up with the medics for over 4 hours due to losing motor function in both of my legs.  That resulted in a week in hospital.  So this year, I was a little nervous that this year might be a repeat of last.

My first fight resulted in a quick win.  It was stopped in the first round, which I was very happy about because I still had both feeling and function in most of my legs.  20 minutes later I was out on the mats again in the final.  The fight went the full three rounds and resulted in a convincing win.  This win means that I am now the 2011 Female Heavyweight Taekwondo Champion!!!

I don't think I would have been able to achieve this without the support of my friends from Russell Macarthur Taekwondo.  Thank you to each and everyone of you who have helped me along the way. You have no idea what it means to me.

Our next challenge together is the MS Moonlight walk!!! I know that it is going to be a success.

Congratulations to all the staff and students at Chinchilla State High School who not only meet the challenge of doubling my height in coins, but reaching a staggering 443cm tall pile of coins!!!!!  I can't thank you enough for all your support.

I gave a presentation today at my high school (I'm a teacher) on the MS Moonlight Walk.  The challenge tomorrow for the students is to double my height in coins to raise funds for the walk.  Now I am 187cm tall, so we worked out that it will take 1496 coins to double my height!  Lets see how we go.  I know we can do it :)

I was diagnosised with multiple sclerosis (MS) one week before my 26th Birthday.  I have been living with MS for the last 4 years.  I have my good days and bad days.  Somedays I wake up not being able to see or walk, other days I can run like there is no tomorrow.

Since being diagnosised with MS I have taken up the sport of Taekwondo with Russell Macarthur Taekwondo and Hapkido.  In 2009 and 2010 I competed in the Australian Taekwondo Championships and took home national titles each year.  I am currently training for my 3rd national title in september, and ultimately, the 2012 world para-taekwondo championships.

I am taking part in the 2011 MS Moonlight Walk in order to raise much-needed funds for people living with MS. I am also taking part to raise awareness for people that just because you are living with MS doesn't mean you can't achieve anything you want.

Please DONATE by clicking on the button to the right and help MS Australia – QLD support all people affected by multiple sclerosis.
